Mom, Dad and I took a ride to celebrate their 67th anniversary. We drove to Maxwell, then to Lodoga and on to Bear Valley from the north end to look for wild flowers - and to take their anniversary picture. Here are my favorite pictures.
To celebrate my 65th birthday we have purchased a new sports car. A new, bright red Mazda Miata MX-5. We can't wait for summer and some new adventures.
Here are a couple of pictures from the ranch. What beautiful spring days!
I've tried to lighten the group picture to make it suitable for printing. My lesson is to ALWAYS bring the GOOD camera - not the little one. Sorry the picture didn't come out as good as it could.
Easter Sunday harkened back to days of old when the extended family gathered in Arbuckle. There were 35 of us celebrating Easter with a pot luck lunch in the church social hall. We enjoyed the scrapbooks of yesteryear and pictures of the picnics in the hills.
After we polished off our lunch (including a ham raised by Thoth and Sarah - and Huckelberry) we gathered in the santuary for a group picture. It was (alomst) like the old days <smile>. It was wonderful to see the great turnout and pay tribute to those family members who weren't able to attend. The complete set of pictures is HERE (click on the upper right for a slide show).
