Christmas dinner in Arbuckle. More pictures HERE.
Tuesday December 7; In celebration of gas prices at $3.25/gallon we decided to take a road trip. The sun was shining but it was still too cold to take the top down. I stopped at the wildlife preserve to shoot a few pictures of the birds flying over, then we loaded up and headed towards Apple Hill. After a few miles Linda said "Lets go to Sutter Creek instead" so we turned North on 49. Before we knew it we had changed our mind again and wound up in Eldorado. We stopped for a hamburger at Poor Reds - a popular spot from the old days. After some shopping at a "junk yard" we returned to the barn and put blankets on the horses.
December 1, Wednesday evening Linda and I went to Nevada City to enjoy their Victorian Christmas Festival. We enjoyed the crowds, the music, the food and the chilly night air.
