March 2011 Back to journal index March 31, 2011:  Dad (Leo) went into the hospital in the morning and passed away in the evening.  Mom, Janine and I put together a slide show as a tribute. March 25; Mat and Becky pay us a visit.  We tour Lodi, not a blad place to be stuck.  Later I took some pictures of our goldfinches.  A couple of days later we bought a new washer and dryer.  On the 30th we went for a visit and dinner with our friends Kerry and Donna. March 21; A birthday dinner at Applebees.  March 23; Rain STORM!!! March 17, 2011 - A drive through the delta to look at the river and the very high water.  We haven't seen the water this high in years. March 15, 2011 - Arbuckle and Lunch in Colusa. March 8, 2011 we drive to Ricotti to look at the saddle shop.  More pictures here. A winter ride; March 4. AND a picture of the Woodland horse. March 1, 2011 we hopped into the car and drove to Bakersfield for the day; to look at a horse.  We had a nice visit with the trainer, Jorge Giovanni.
